Alice Elizabeth Currey is an early-career photo editor, writer, and photographer specializing in documentary storytelling and visual journalism. A recent graduate of New York University, she studied photojournalism with a focus on conflict resolution and collective security. She was born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya, and spent her teen years in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. She currently serves as Digital Communications Manager for Social Documentary Network and Associate Editor of ZEKE Magazine. Her previous work includes developing digital media campaigns for FotoEvidence and their coverage of Russia's invasion of Ukraine and photo editing for Transitions, a Prague-based publication covering Central and Eastern Europe through solutions journalism. She is a member of the NYC press.
